Acando establishes Output Management Competence Centre

Acando Competency Centre for Output Management and Data Standards is part of the development of UN/CEFACT standards and core components. Manager for the Competency Center, Carrsten Johan Thessen, will participate in the 16th UN/CEFACT FORUM in Bangkok, Thailand 26-30 April 2010. Through the competence centre, Acando takes a position in the front-line, offering services and solutions such as migrations, implementations and best practice in the areas of output management and data standards.

UN/CEFACT develops trade facilitation recommendations, e-business standards and the supporting technical specifications, through the permanent groups, their sub-groups and the Forum. The Forum, which is managed by a Forum Management Group (FMG), is a constituent body of the United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business (UN/CEFACT), which is an intergovernmental body of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE).

UN/CEFACT supports activities dedicated to improving the ability of business, trade and administrative organisations, from developed, developing and transitional economies, to exchange products and relevant services effectively.

Its´ principal focus is on facilitating national and international transactions, through the simplification and harmonisation of processes, procedures and information flows, and so contribute to the growth of global commerce.
